We publish free educational dental implant cost calculators and guides for visitors in the United States. This policy applies to this website and the tools and content on it. We do not require registration, and our calculators do not ask for your name, email, phone number or address. If you contact us by email or through a form, we receive the information you include in your message, such as your name, email address and the content of your request.

Calculator inputs
The selections you make in our calculators, such as procedure type, state, crown material and add-ons, are used to calculate your estimate in your browser. Based on how our tools currently work, we do not transmit those selections to our servers or store them in an account. If you use the print, copy or PDF options, the file is generated on your device.
Because browsers and plugins can record page activity, please do not type personal health details into any open text field. If we add features that store or send calculator inputs, such as emailing your estimate, we will update this policy first and tell you what is collected.
Cookies and analytics
Cookies are small files stored on your device. We use them for:
- Essential functions: keeping the site working, such as security and, for site administrators only, login sessions.
- Analytics: we use Google Analytics and Google Search Console, connected through the Site Kit by Google plugin, to count visits and see how pages perform. Google Analytics typically sets cookies whose names start with
_ga.
You can manage cookies in several ways:
- Change your browser settings to block or delete cookies. Some site features may work less well if you do.
- Install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
- Turn on a browser or extension that sends the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal. We do not sell or share your personal information for advertising, so there is nothing further to opt out of, but we respect the signal.

Third-party services and links
Our pages load some resources from outside providers. For example, the "Download PDF" feature uses a PDF library delivered from a content delivery network (cdnjs, operated by Cloudflare), which can receive your IP address and browser details when your browser requests the file. Our site also links to outside websites. Those sites have their own privacy practices, and this policy does not cover them.
Health information
We do not ask for your medical or dental records, diagnoses or insurance details, and we are not a dental practice or a health plan. Dental Implant Cost Calculators is not a "covered entity" under HIPAA, and the information on this site is not protected health information. Please do not send us medical records or sensitive health information.
Data retention
We keep information only as long as needed for the purposes above. Analytics data is kept for the retention period set in our analytics account, typically up to 14 months. Messages you send us are kept as long as needed to respond and for reasonable record keeping, then deleted. Server logs are kept for a short period by our hosting provider. We may keep information longer where required by law.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information, including HTTPS encryption and access controls with our service providers. No website or internet transmission is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your privacy choices and rights
Depending on where you live, such as California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Texas and other US states with privacy laws, you may have the right to:

Because we do not require accounts and keep little identifying data, we may be unable to locate information tied to you. You may also use an authorized agent to submit a request, and if we deny a request, you may be able to appeal by replying to our decision. We will respond within the time required by applicable law.

Children's privacy
